On Wednesday, 19th November, we marked International Men's Day at the Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes. The event was organized by Susan Papoola from Mosaic Fusions.

It was a captivating event featuring influential speakers and engaging discussions.

The afternoon commenced with an introduction by Lady Howe, the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, and the Mayor of Milton Keynes, James Lancaster. Panel discussions were led by Gamiel Yafai, with contributions from Kene Esom (Law and Policy Expert), Mark Rolfe (MD, Yamaha), and Manish Gohel (See Yourself Differently). Keynote speaker Kenny Mammarella-D'Cruz, known as the Man Whisperer, captivated the audience, discussing the importance of positive male role models and highlighted mens' wellbeing, covering physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.

  • The perception of manhood across different cultures and communities, influenced by identity and origin.

  • Promoting men's health—physically, mentally, emotionally, and in relationships.

  • Challenging stereotypes about men.

  • Encouraging individuals to become who they aspire to be.

The Creating Longevity and Legacy display, brought together 11 men to record a week each of their lives - demonstrating what they do on a normal day to day. Each of them took 5 photos that reflected their feelings.
