The Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes was the venue for a vibrant and inspiring International Women's Day event on Friday, March 7, 2025. This celebration, organized by Women in Enterprise in partnership with NatWest Business, sought to motivate, empower, and educate participants, all under the theme #accelerateaction.
Organizers Michelle Theuma, Heidi Thomas, and Debbie Lewis, along with many other volunteers, ensured the event's success. The event showcased an impressive roster of speakers and panelists.

Keynote speaker Jaz Ampaw Farr shared her life story, her journey, and her personal growth, demonstrating that every day presents challenges that you can conquer!
Melonie Barnaby, a spoken word artist, not only recited her own poems but also engaged the audience by asking them for five key words, from which she then crafted a poem.
Ian Revell from MK Community Foundation spoke about how all donations went towards the Women's Fund and distributed within Milton Keynes women and children.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in various workshops and networking sessions, fostering connections and discussions on topics such as financial empowerment and the importance of diversity and inclusion.
